The beginner’s course is an ideal choice for everyone who has no experience with dance or struggles to recall forgotten skills from previous dance lessons. In the advanced classes, we will expand your dance abilities with additional dances and variations while also focusing on dancing with technical precision.

Course duration
Each course consists of a total of 7 dance lessons, each lasting an hour and a half. Each lesson includes a ten-minute break.
Dance lessons take place once a week, always on the same day and time, except for public holidays.
In exceptional cases, such as when the lesson cannot take place due to the instructor's illness, we will always arrange a makeup date. Fortunately, this doesn't happen often.
Course content
In the basic course, we will primarily focus on fundamental steps and variations of individual dances. We ensure that you understand the basic principles and that you can dance with ease and without stress. Do we need any prior dance experience?
In the basic courses, we approach all couples as complete beginners who have never set a foot on a dance floor before.
In the intermediate courses, however, we assume that you know at least the basic steps of the most common dances and can dance them to music on your own.
Physical demands
Each lesson consists of instructional segments where individual elements and movements are explained, as well as segments where we dance to music for a few minutes continuously. However, we won't be teaching anything that requires special physical fitness. All you need is regular mobility without any issues. If you can handle going up two flights of stairs without a problem, you will certainly be able to handle our dance classes.
The dances
Gradually, we will teach you up to 15 dances that you may encounter at balls, weddings, or dance halls. We will focus on both standard dances (Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Quickstep) and Latin American dances (Cha-cha, Jive, Rumba, Salsa, Bachata). We won't forget about popular ballroom dances like Blues, Polka, or even Country.

The course is intended for dance couples aged 18 and above.

Recommended dress code
Smart casual
We do not have a prescribed dress code. However, we recommend choosing clothing in which you will feel comfortable on the dance floor and that won't restrict your movements.
For ladies, you can opt for short dresses, blouses and trousers, or even a t-shirt and jeans. You can wear your favorite high-heeled shoes (make sure they are stable, comfortable, and secure on your feet), ballet flats, or even sneakers with non-marking soles.
For gentlemen, we suggest a shirt and trousers, or a polo shirt and jeans. You can wear loafers or sneakers with non-marking soles. Avoid wearing shorts, sandals, or t-shirts with loud prints.
The key is to wear something that allows you to move freely and comfortably while feeling confident on the dance floor.Pánům doporučujeme košili a kalhoty nebo poloshirt či třičko a jeany. Na nohy můžete vzít polobotky, nebo tenisky, opět s podrážkou, která nedělá fleky a čáry. Určitě se vyhněte kraťasům, sandálům či trikům s křiklavým potiskem.

You can pay the course by credit card, bank transfer, or choose one of the deferred payment methods (Twisto) or installment payments.
The payment gateway provider is ComGate Payments, a.s.
Cancelation and refund policy
To cancel your registration, you can send an email to: info@dancebuddies.cz.
Please make sure to include the order number, names of participants, and the bank account number where we can refund the course fee.
The following cancellation fees apply for a paid registration:

If you have purchased a flexible gift voucher (a voucher not tied to a specific course date), you can return it within 14 days from the date of purchase.
The course fee, or its proportional part, will also be refunded if the course or a part of it is canceled by us without providing alternative dates.
Refunded money will be sent to your account no later than 30 days from the receipt of the cancellation request.
